The National Gallery of Victoria and its Water Wall are the feature of this painting. Walter has integrated three cameo paintings to extend the story for the viewer. He was interested in capturing the drama of the light in the background against the darker foreground and impact created by the water flow. The grandchildren express the delight we all feel when viewing flowing water interwoven with light.
